COURSE OVERVIEW

The course offers new ways for teachers to teach STEM activities in the indoor as well as outdoor environment. The course is interactive and we use the “learning by doing” approach. Throughout the week we will combine interactive workshops and kindergarten visits, including a “forest” kindergarten. The aim of the course is to provide teachers with new ideas how to introduce the STEM topics to  children in a hands-on and playful way .The main difference from our other courses is the focus on the environmental aspect of the learning situation - making the most of the diverse possibilities that are provided by the classroom on one hand and by the outdoor (e.g.forest, school yard etc.) on the other.
